Flannery Clan Gatherings

Clan Gatherings have been and shall continue to be organised by local members to suit their own requirements. The themes and activities staged at Clan Gatherings reflect the interests of Flannerys / Flannellys attending the event - which, in Ireland, normally alternates between Munster and Connaught - and all members are welcome to attend all events.

The date and venue are usually put to our members' popular vote twelve months in advance (via the previous Summer newsletter). Full details of the programme are normally posted out to all members who return a positive vote and express an interest.

Next Flannery Clan Gathering

2010

The next Clan Gathering is scheduled to be held in County Clare over the weekend of 24^th / 25^th July 2010. As usual, the date and venue were put to our members' popular vote twelve months in advance (via Summer 2009 newsletter). The preliminary programme was circulated to all members (via Autumn 2009 newsletter) and final details shall be posted out to all members who expressed an interest. There has been a strong response and a good turnout is anticipated.

NOTE: After due consideration, it is proposed that the initial two years interval shall be increased to allow sufficient time for recovery! Preliminary dates for future events are 2010 and 2015.
